The flat roof section of this Anaheim Hills residence had deteriorated well beyond its serviceable life. Years of exposure had caused the existing roofing membrane to crack, blister, and separate — leaving the underlying roof deck vulnerable to water intrusion and progressive structural damage. What began as minor weathering had become a serious issue requiring a complete system replacement.

Once the deck was exposed, damaged lumber was identified, measured, and replaced with new structural-grade lumber to restore a solid foundation. A CertainTeed base membrane was then securely fastened to the entire roof deck, followed by the installation of a Title 24 Cool Roof self-adhering capsheet — rolled carefully to ensure complete coverage and proper adhesion. The membrane was extended and rolled under the adjacent shingle roof to create a seamless, watertight connection between the two roof sections.
